Frequently Asked Questions

“How do I know which provider/ faciitator is right for me?”

Great question! Evaluating who to trust as a facilitator of something that has the potential to be a powerful experience is something that should be at the top of your list.

First and foremost, you want to feel safe. Do they have a robust intake process with a full medical review? Are they professional? Do you feel secure in their care?

Second, you want to feel that there is a personal connection between you and thier team. Are their values aligned with yours? Do they make you feel comfortable and cared for? Do they have good communication skills?

Third, you want to resonate with their “style” of work. Are you interested in a more clinical approach? Do you feel that ceremony is important to you?

Fourth, you want to know about others’ experiences with your potential provider. Does your provider share testimonials? Have you been referred by somebody you trust?

Ultimately, who you choose to guide you on your journey is a very personal choice and while this work does require a certain degree of stepping into the unknown on your part, you want to make sure that the above boxes have been checked and that you feel otherwise “aligned” with the people who will be supporting you. You may have your own requirements, too, and you should always feel allowed and encouraged to find the right fit- never to be pushed into something that is uncomfortable or doesn’t feel right. At the end of the day, trust your inner knowing.

“How do I know that I will be safe in your care?”

We conduct a full medical review overseen by doctors. We only proceed when you have been cleared. We have been trained by authorities from one end of the spectrum to the other- from medical professionals to indigenous leaders- in the safe administration and use of these tools.

We communicate well; we are accessible and transparent and you are always welcome to ask questions or voice concerns.

“What is your ‘style’ of work?”

In the world of providers, these tools are offered in a wide range of settings and styles, from clinics to jungle floors. For example, some providers take very sectarian, academic approaches. While others can be very abstract and involve new-age methodologies.

We have personal experience as attendees all across the board, ourselves. We have participated in our own journeys in every setting from sterile medical clinics in the western world to fire and dirt floors in Africa.

In taking stock of what have been our most powerful and transformative experiences on our personal paths, we have come to understand that the ceremonies involved in the experiences were critical and inextricable from the simple “journeys.” As such, we bring a lot of sacredness and ritual into the space.

Furthermore, our paths ultimately revealed themselves to be spiritual paths and we consider spirituality to be a cornerstone of the work we do. We refer to spirituality but we do not define it by any specific name, in turn referring to God, Source, Spirit, Higher Self, Mother Nature, and such as interchangeable. We draw from different traditions and regard Christ Consciousness and Buddha Nature to be speaking the same language. We work seamlessly with people of all faiths, including those who are agnostic or atheist. We do not have an agenda when it comes to spirituality, we have our feet firmly planted on the ground, and we welcome all.

Finally, we believe that joy, humor, and play are just as important parts of the “work” as anything else and there are ample opportunities for laughter at our retreats.

“What if I have never done anything like this before?”

Perfect! Welcome to the most amazing thing on the planet. We are so excited to share this experience with you and we will care for you and guide you every step along the way.

The tools we work with are very “loving” in nature.

Of course, every experience like this requires some stepping into the unknown, which can bring about some resistance from the ego that favors certainty. Even for those among us with a lot of experience, we often still feel some nervous excitement going into the experience. That is natural. But every time we step forward, we are rewarded, often in surprising ways. And you will be, too.

“Now for some nuts and bolts… will I have my own private space?”

Yes! You will have your own private space for both your stay and your session.

“How many attendees will be at the retreat?”

Typically between 6-8. We keep our retreats intimate.

“Do you offer private experiences?”

Yes, occasionally we are able to offer private experiences for you, depending on our availability. We are also able to custom tailor a group experience for your family, team, or chosen group of people. Please reach out to us via the “contact” button above for more information.

“I am interested… what’s the next step?”

Reach out to us via the “contact” button in the upper right corner of this page. If you are new to us, we will set up a Discovery Call with you as well as send you a “Getting to Know You” form. We will connect with you on a video call, hear about what you are looking for, share what we offer, and find the best fit for you. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If you are returning, we will collect any new medical information and sign you up!

“Once I have signed up, what do I need to do to prepare for my experience?”

Upon signup, we will connect you with your Personal Integration Coach who will work with you before and after your experience. During your first call with them, they provide you with a Prep Guide that has all the information you will need, including tips and tools, suggested resources and practices, items to bring, etc

“Will I have the same experience next time I attend a retreat?”

There is a saying in this work that you never step in the same river twice. Even working with the same tools many times, you will never have the same experience. As you advance along the path, you will find yourself continually astonished at how expansive it becomes.
